EMMYLOU HARRIS NEW CD "STUMBLED INTO GRACE  > AND CAN BE FOUND AT MOST MUSIC OUTLETS

      Emmylou Harris

     Emmylou Harris And Johnny Cash

Born On 4/2/47 In Birmingham. Alabama. Worked As A Folk Singer In Washington, DC In The 60's. First Recorded For Jubilee In 1966. Toured With Flying Burrito Brothers And Gram Parsons Until 1973. Own Band From 1975. Was Married To British Songwriter Paul Kennerley In 1985

Unquestionably one of the most distinctive – and evocative belongs in all of music (not just country) belongs to Johnny Cash. Those wonderfully ragged vocal chords were perfectly showcased on 1988 collaboration album “Water From The Wells From Home”, which featured Cash singing with most of his family members, as well as Glen Campbell, Jessie Colter, Everly Brothers, Waylon Jennings, Paul McCartney, Hank Williams Jr. and Emmylou Harris. Cash and Harris turned in one of the collection’s highlights with their version of Roy Acuff’s “As Long As I Live” to which Roy himself lent voice
